Our process

From the inception of recipes, selection of botanicals, maceration and distillation, tasting and testing, we are committed to delivering a premium product. We only ever use the ‘heart’ of the distillation to create Herbit G!N. It’s quality you can taste.

FERMENTATION

Pure sugar cane, distilled water and champagne yeast. 10 -12 days

DISTILLATION

We produce our own quality base spirit

INFUSION

Botanicals weighed out, macerated and left to steep in a silk bag to infuse the base spirit for 46hrs

SINGLE SHOT DISTILLATION

With the botanicals our 500-litre copper still. Collected in segments, the heads and tails of the run are discarded. Only the pure hearts remain

Diluted with pure water is to bring the alcohol level to 46% vol
